Beginners Mountain Bike Ride

Come and ride the blue mountain bike route and play in the skills area with a British Cycling qualified leader. Ideal for those who have not yet tried out the blue route, have a new bike to play with, are relatively new to off-road riding or are returning to mountain biking.

This is a social ride for adults of any age, the ride will be at an easy pace and the leader will ensure everyone has time to catch their breath. Those nervous about riding off road, are very welcome.

These rides run at least once a month so if you are unable to make this date keep checking our What’s On pages for another ride.

What you need to know

• Booking is essential.
• Meet in front of the Visitor Centre ready to ride at 10am.
• Helmets are compulsory and we recommend wearing gloves and sports glasses. Please double check your bike is trail worthy before attending.
• The ride is self-supported so please bring any spares you may need – water, snack, puncture repair kit, extra layers.
• Parking charges apply at all times.
