Workshop Details

Led by artist Richenda Court A.R.E., the morning session will focus on generating ideas for drypoint etching and exploring 3-4 featured artworks in the exhibition for inspiration. Focused artists we will be looking at include Stanley William Hayter and Julian Trevelyan.

A demonstration will be given on how to make a drypoint etching focusing on technique and practising using the materials.

The afternoon session will be spent making the plate, inking up and printing the image onto dampened paper through an etching press.
