Christmas Shopping in Petersfield
As many of you know, Petersfield is a brilliant place to go for a shop. The streets are filled with small independent businesses from cafes, restaurants, boutiques, beauty parlours and so many more wonderful shops that are perfect for finding those unique and thoughtful gifts this Christmas.
Here’s a festive guide to help you make the most of your Christmas shopping trip to Petersfield:
First off, if you want the full Christmas experience try going from the 24th November as the Festive lights will be on, transforming the streets into a mini winter wonderland. If you want to make a day of it, why not enjoy a local dinner after shopping in one of the many wonderful, cosy restaurants nearby.
Or if you want to be an early bird and get the shopping out of the way before the busy Christmas period I would recommend heading into Petersfield during a weekday as it may be a little quieter.

If you are looking for something a little different then just a regular shopping day Petersfield also has a few events that are perfect for grabbing your presents.
The Petersfield Christmas Market:
On the 10th December Petersfield will be filled with stalls at the, free to enter, Petersfield Christmas Market. Very few of these stalls are from shops locally so there will be a huge range of things to buy that you’ve never seen before! Check out their website for details.
Late Night Shopping Night:
On the 7th December some of the wonderful independent shops in town have organised a perfect Christmas night. They will be staying open late to allow people to have a shop after work or to fit around their busy schedules. What more could you want!
