Our aim is to offer a wide range of complementary therapies delivered by experienced and effective practitioners who have been selected for their skill and integrity. All practitioners are insured and members of relevant professional bodies, where appropriate, and undertake regular continued professional development. We work together as a team and may liaise with and consult each other, when necessary and with your express consent, to ensure treatment is tailored to your needs. At present, we have practitioners able to offer osteopathy, including cranial osteopathy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, homeopathy, chiropody, reflexology, stress management & healing, reiki, massage (sports, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stones), counselling and energy healing. Gift vouchers are also available. A survey conducted in 2020, to mark the 25th anniversary of The Centre opening, showed how much our clients value the services we offer. They specifically mentioned the effectiveness of practitioners, finding them easy to talk to and informative. Many mentioned the consistency and length of the relationships they’d build with practitioners, with some practitioners having several generations of a family. Receptionists were seen as very much part of the team, matching the ethos of the practitioners, and helpful and welcoming. We have established a Covid protocol which enabled us to reopen in June 2020 and we have remained open ever since, for those practitioners who have been able to work.
